Biography

Born on 9 August 1968, Prigorodnoye, Grozny District, Checheno-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic Russia.

From 1986 'till 1988 served in the military service.

In 1996, Ruslan graduated from Millionshchikov State Oil Technical University with a degree in engineering economics and in 2001 from Moscow State University with a Master’s degree in sociology.

Education: Millionshchikov State Oil Technical University (1996), Moscow State University (2001), NUST MISIS (2018).

2001 to 2004 - Appointed as the vice president of Moscow Oil Company and took over the responsibility of supplying high-quality oil products to Moscow.

2004 to 2005 - Took on the role of vice president of Central Fuel Company. As part of the company, Moscow Oil Refinery was responsible for providing the supply of most of Moscow's petroleum demand at the time.

Since 2005 - Served as chairman of the board of directors at CJSC MNK-AVTOKARD. In 2007-2010, he took on the role of first vice president at the Moscow Oil and Gas Company of managing Moscow Refinery, Moscow Fuel Company, and Mosnefteprodukt.

From 2010–2011, served as Senior Vice president of Central Fuel Company.

2011 - Acquired Tuva Energy Industrial Corporation where he serves as General Director, which is committed to venture investment and infrastructure projects in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Tuva, and the Far East.

2015 to 2016 - Acquired 25% of the shares of SK MOST Group of companies and then increased his stake up to 56%, holding the position of chairman of JSC USK Most board of directors.

In 2018, Ruslan received a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree from the National University of Science and Technology MISIS.

Ruslan Baisarov is married and is the father of six children.
